Weight-Sensing Floor Mats.

Weight-sensing floor mats function with Fall Monitors and signal a fall alarm when weight is placed on the floor mat. Floor Mats may be placed at the side of a bed or in a doorway to alert the caregiver when a resident arises or attempts to depart. Floor Mats are available in CordLess configurations or corded with a phone jack and plug connection. When floor mats are being used as a wireless system, the floor mat triggers the Wireless Transmitter (TL-2016 REV) which then sends a signal to the Central Monitor Unit (TL-2015 REV), informing the caregiver of which floor mat alarm was activated. The Central Monitoring Unit can monitor up to 999 residents. An optional Wireless Alarm Light is also available for this system. The 433-CMU Economy Central Monitor is another option to monitor residents wirelessly from a nurse station or other location. Floor mats are made out of heavy-duty soft vinyl and are moisture sealed for long lasting use. “Extra Long” Floor mats are available that are designed for bedside or double doors.
